Delta Careers College is a highly qualitative, unique and result-oriented educational institution that accepts students from various backgrounds. The school helps her students to achieve their educational dream through well designed programmes that are student-centred. Since the inception of the College, her students have been performing excellently well both in the junior and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations as well as the University of Cambridge Ordinary and Advanced Level Examination.
Our aim is to meet the educational needs of many people as possible at the Nursery / Primary and Secondary school levels, irrespective of their intellectual ability, creed, kinship, age or national origin.
The purpose of the College is:

Dr. Kenneth Otaniyen Igharo is the principal of Delta Careers College, Warri, Delta State of Nigeria. Associate Professor of Education, in the of The Gambia, West Africa, until August 1st 2015, when he assumed office. He is a professional fellow of the international guild of Academicians (FIGA), South Africa. Has taught graduate, undergraduate and certificate in school management courses. Dr. Igharo earned PhD in Education leadership & Administration in British West Indies, M.Ed. in measurement and evaluation, and a B.Ed. (Honours) in Chemistry both in the University of Benin.
He also taught in the early 90s, at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the College of Education, Ekiadolor-Benin City, Nigeria. He served as Co-Coordinator of the certificate in school management programme (A professional development course for school principals, head teachers and departmental heads). He is well trained as an ODL(open and distance learning) course writer, instructional, material designer and as a trainer of trainers. Highly dedicated to serving the needs of practicing school manager’s at all educational levels.
Dr. Igharo has written books using simplified approach to help others bridge the gaps between theory and practice of measurement and evaluation, research methods, educational statistics in schools and calculations in Chemistry for secondary schools. He has had prior work experience in school administration, and serves actively as a consultant in School leadership and Teacher Educator. His secondary education work experience includes: subject teacher (Chemistry/Core Science) & class teacher, vice principal and principal of senior secondary schools in The Gambia, Jos and Warri at various times. He was Director of studies in a tertiary professional training institute in Banjul and a technical support assistant in Tel-Aviv, state of Israel, He served in various academic committees internationally and locally.
Dr. K.O Igharo is committed to instructional excellence, functional situational leadership model and curriculum innovation. He serves as an active participant in various workshops and conferences. A member of the American Educational Research Association(MAERA) (Educational research division), Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (MAACE), Federation of African societies of Chemistry(MFASC).
He has also published articles in the Mediterranean, Journal of educational and social research Italy, African Journal of chemical education, among other scholarly journals.
Dr Igharo was born 46 years ago, in the then Midwestern state (now Edo) of Nigeria. He is happily married to Emily (also an educator) and blessed with two children (female and male, respectively).
